The Perfect Man
The perfect man is someone who would love to spend every single night with his body wrapped around yours, but understands if you don’t feel like cuddling. He is smart, but doesn’t like to show it off. He loves music, and is open to different genres because even if he doesn’t like them, he can appreciate that not everyone shares his own musical tastes. He wants to be involved in your life, and seeks to learn more about your interests and passions. He has his own hobbies, and is willing to share them with you, despite knowing they aren’t really your thing. He likes to stay fit, but because he wants to be healthy, not just for looks. He is comfortable in his own skin, and happy with who he is. He lets you be big spoon sometimes. He wants you to spend time with his friends because he is proud of your relationship, and wants his friends to like you on their own terms, not just accept you because he likes you. He is excited to introduce you to his family, and wants to meet yours. Your dad respects him, and your mom thinks he’s charming. He makes you laugh so hard you cry. He is always there for you when you need him. He is always kind, respects you for who you are, and supports you in becoming who you want to be. You can tell him absolutely anything. He is never jealous because he trusts you and believes in the bond you share. He would never make you do something you don’t want to do. He tries to help, even when he has no idea what he’s talking about. You could spend hours staring into his eyes and it wouldn’t get boring or awkward. Nothing makes him happier than making you happy. He lets you cry on his shoulder and doesn’t care that you got snot all over his favourite t-shirt. He tells you you’re beautiful, even when you don’t feel pretty, and always means it. He loves the things that you think make you “weird”, knows your past, and accepts everything about you. He would be your night in shining armor if you needed it, but is also willing to just listen and let you vent. You can fall asleep with your head on his chest, and feel completely content that things are the way they are meant to be. He wants to be a better man because he knows you deserve nothing but the absolute best. He tells you he loves you, and you have no doubt in your mind that he’s telling you the truth as you say it back to him.
Does he exist?
